A man who wants you to sign a contract before he'll shag you? No chance.

No, domestic abuse doesn't turn me on so that would not be someone I would ever want to be with.

I also will automatically delete messages and block anyone who's username references that book

What if it was a contract guaranteeing more shagging and a chocolate bar with every third shag?

i think a few guys would be turned on by a Dom female with S&M kinks but felt the books could have done more with his character.

The film will probably be good for some cpls but can't help thinking Fab peeps will be disappointed with it.

I haven't read the books, and from some of the extracts that people have picked out to show how bad they are, i won't be. From what i gather from his history and the way he's portrayed then nobody should want someone like christian grey! He's a victim of abuse by women when younger and wants to turn the tables basically...not the sort of Dom/me anybody should want!

Read the first book, biggest pile of shit I've read.

The character of Grey was severely flawed.

Many in here posting about the control he imposed when ironically he became the controlled.

Too many flaws in the story and the principle character, book also very poorly written, author wouldn't have passed Standard Grade English with that mince.

No I wouldn't want a Mr Grey like him. However I would one day like to find someone who loves me as much as the character is meant to love Anna. Obviously I'd prefer it if said person didn't do it in such a controlling way.

I'm way too much of a romantic to be on here sometimes

The concept was interesting tho the story far fetched and writing not great. You're right in the end he did become controlled by his love and his fears.

If anyone has seen the film 'Secretary', which I thought was a good exploration of the subject, the male character is also called Mr Grey - I'm wondering how much was ripped off this earlier work

Interesting that some think this book depicts Domestic Abuse. Have also seen suggestions of this on that popular social media site. Which is a shame, because to do so trivalises both BDSM scene and those who have suffered domestic abuse. BDSM is a lifestyle choice, this book is about choice. Domestic abuse is not and never will be about choice.

I like a bit of D/S, some kinky fun is excellent.

What i read of that book was total shit.

Overhyped bollocks that sadly i will probably have too watch at some point.

Well spotted

The author of the Fifty Shades trilogy made a lot of money out of plagiarism.

Makes a living writing blogs for pre/pubescent vampyre lovers says it all for me

One thing I would say since the novels came out everytime I turn my Kindle on and look for FREE books, the amount of Literotica is becoming overwhelming.

Keep it up ladies I've read a helluva lot more interesting and better written 18+ rated Mills&Boon books since

I think there's a massive difference between a controlling man who acts like a Dom to someone who is naturally a Dom and into the scene...

I think that's where the mix up comes that people are portraying.
