Need to buy a blender

Hiya.

I'm posting this here, simply because I know my girlfriend doesn't look on here much.

She hijacks my account when she's feeling nosey, but never comes into the forums.

She's recently been on a bit of a soup kick, so I've decided to try and kill two birds with one stone.

My current blender is old and pretty weak, plus it can't handle warm or hot items (ie to blend soup).

Has anyone here bought a blender recently that they can give a personal approval to?

I've tried looking on Amazon and Argos, but keep getting redirected to the combo soup maker/blender things.

Thank you in advance.

Mandy

we bought a Russel Hobbs hand blender from Argos - £10 - had it for 2 years now.

we use it for Soup and also Fruit Smoothies - cuts through frozen fruit in fruit juice perfectly !!!

more north lincs than mids!

We recently bought a nutribullet. Love it!

Only used it for smoothies so far but it's definitely worth the money.
