"That's great news. Its so important for recovering children to have their parents beside them. During my time at GOSH, while the care was excellent the parents accommodation was dormitories with bunk beds. No privacy, and in the basement far away from the wards. I'm sure its better now but it was impossible to rest and so depressing. Parents of sick children need TLC too to be able to cope with such a difficult situation. These improvements sound amazing. "Sadly staff are always the last to know in any situation ." no nursing staff are the last to know the porters and cleaners are booked for overtime weeks if not months in advance sometimes | |||
