Yeah agree with this however I thought it was interesting especially with what's went on in France over the past week!

Yea i should have said both sides ,it was english defence league and bnp supporters who just try and cause trouble anywhere they go as we seen at george sqare just after the referendum nothing but racists in my veiw

Never saw it as wouldn't watch thugs on TV

Would like to know if the white and proud program was Muslim and proud how many would have watched it or would have been aired?

I just find it sad that no matter what your religion or ethical background your getting tarred with the same brush?

i would still have watched it auds and in the rally flashpoints they were as bad as each other ,also agree not all muslims are potential terrorists ,the hate preachers should def not be aloud to spout their bile but seem to get away with it as do the edl and bnp

Yeah you don't have to be white to be british and proud to be so! but I thought what this documentary did was show the two extremes within society neither of which did themselves any favours!

Having lived in London for 16 years and experienced a multi-cultural society with all of its good and bad points, I get really annoyed with the tiny minorities on ALL sides as none of them actually represent their culture/religion.

There have always been and will always be bigots on all sides but it's about how our future generations grow up that matters. If we can show them that bigotry is wrong and living together in a community harmoniously is right, maybe one day it will happen.

But I won't hold my breath

I have no problem with other people's religious beliefs. I am Catholic myself, along with our two children.

The majority of Muslims are good people, just like the majority of Christians and of other faiths.

I do however, have a problem with extreme Muslims. They don't stop at following their religion and practising as they see fit. They want to take over, force everyone to follow their beliefs & to practise sharia law. All because of their medieval interpretation of the Qur'an. Surely, nobody can agree that this is right? They don't want to coexist, they want to rule and take over & it seems everyone is afraid to speak up, for fear of being branded a racist.

There were people provoking violence on all sides. The extreme left wing are just as bad as the extreme right yet seem to get less attention.

The Muslims telling people they are going to take over the country don't help either.

In my opinion the problem is that we don't really have freedom of speech anymore and people's views seem to be oppressed if they go against the mainstream. Communication has always been the best way to bring everyone together. The longer we fight amongst ourselves the longer it will take us to address the real issues facing the population like poverty.

At the risk angering some, you probably find in the middle east its the Moderate Muslims who who feel this was about Extreme Christians and Extreme Jews.

Bear in mind in the West we live comparatively safe environment than the unstable Middle east where the. Its easy for us to not understand fully the stength of peoples emotions because we are not suffering as much or feel oppressed.

Palestinian people under unimaginable suffering caught between militants/ Israeli fighting, or Egypt where minority Coptic Chritians now need to wield power in a majority Muslim Country.

The Muslim Brotherhood was the first democratically elected party in Egypt... but quickly toppled... (I guess democracy is good it as long as its YOUR kind of democracy).

US citizens feel nervous happing unmanned drones in the sky, image living on the constant threat of a bomb carrying drone over your city ready to fall out of the sky.

The west was saying 'good on you' to the Arab people in the Arab spring, but if you tried the same thing with your goverments in the West you would have been punished.

The West scoffed at China for its censorship but its own people are becoming more and more subject to snooping.

We need to all get off our high horses and all take a good look at ourselves.. and ask how much do we actually do to help out fellow brother/sister across the world.

Are we happy to take advantage of cheap labour producing our NIKE trainers and the scorn people from the EU taking jobs at lower rates threaten out abililty to buy slave labour runing shoes?

We all the same, we just need to look back on history to see how stupid we have become bringing (all Abrahamic) religions to shame.

Ah the old chaos theory. There is some merit in it. Tear down the establishment then let order resume but the "order" introduced isn't always what everyone wants or agrees with.

It's difficult, I think the motto agree to disagree would solve a lot of issues in general eg I don't agree with you but as long as you harm none (in fab context against their will) I acknowledge you are free to think, feel and act that way.
