Minimal cost but huge plus. In a pub close to after 8 and have to put jacket on the floor.

It's a no brainer, landlords.

You can buy hooks (aimed at handbags granted, but work for jackets) that sit over the table edge and allow you to hang your bag/jacket under the table. I hate my bag on the floor.

Take a screw clamp with you. Use a beer mat or two to protect the table.

Your in Scotland, nice mild weather, you don't need a jacket, T-shirt keeps you warm and at this time of year also maybe a wee jumper
