OK folks if you've ever experience having a stalker on the site ,how have you delt with it .Apart from reporting there profile and blocking them .Has it ever worried you, made you doubt the site or your safety on here ?

I had one last year which I ended up reporting to the police. Must have done the trick as I never heard from her again. Safety first, always.

I had an experience in my teens..nothing to do with here but it was one of the most unsettling times of my life. Quite horrible. Oddly enough it had a silver lining as a good friend used to walk me home from work to see I was safe and later became my husband. These people have to be stopped... Its menacing and wicked. At that time I found the police only keen to act "if something happened". No idea what happens now but I would contact them in an instant were I to be in that situation again.

I do think there is a need for caution, too many share too much information and that can make them way too vulnerable.

I trust very, very few people with any information and if I had the time again, I would not have accommodated as much and given zero details of a personal nature.

No stalking in the manner in which I think you mean.

But I do have a couple of forum stalkers but I guess the good thing about it being forum stalkers everyone gets to see them at their worst.

It's what they do in private that makes them more menacing (oh yeah and they think you don't know they do it)but thank god for good friends.

Yip I have had this to the point I was followed in as a with my kids but a very good friend of mine was in a perfect uniform job to which helped to sort it out hope you are ok don't let it spoil your fun it did for me for a while but x

In my time on here when I first joined over 4 yrs ago ive had one experience where I have HAD to involve the police ,any other problem ive dealt with in diffrent ways which I won't go into on the forums . Hence I take my time when planning to meet anyone im very wary now and my safety Always comes first and I always tell a close friend when and where if im attending a meet. Also im a stickler for NOT giving out to much information about myself,where i live ect ect ect This experience has been reports twice which resulted in both party's being blocked from veiwing or mailing each other but it hasn't stopped them making 7 profiles in all .

I hope you get it resolved. It's a tough one but try your best to not react as they may become bored but it would be tough to not respond in some way.

The more you can ignore the snipers, repeat profile _iewers etc the better.

I believe not to take stuff into the forum or pms anyone can sit on a keyboard also make new profiles to torment folk I've had to fight my way through life to get where I am today I'd rather say what I have to say face to face
