Do you read the profile before messaging to see you fit the criteria desired?

Do you send a polite message or "How's your bum for lovebites?" Or "Fancy a shag?"

Is your conversation interesting and full of whimsy and wit?

Do you attach a pic of your appendage?

Were you expecting the ladies to form an orderly queue begging for your attention?

What would you like us to do about it in between wrapping the turkey and stuffing the presents?

There are hundreds more guys than women on here, like at a bar you have to make an effort with your appearance, you have to make an effort with your profile and the messages you send.

Yes people read mails and delete/don't reply and there entitled to do that, understand that women get literally hundreds of messages and with no profile pic your onto plums imo.

Its also xmas time people spend time with their families etc and not everyone is online looking for a meet, some come on to read mails, forum posts etc.

Also theres no better way to meet women than at socials in my opinion, so theres always ways to make yourself known.

The site is literally saturated with mens profiles,unless you have something thats going to make you stand out from the crowd your fighting a losing battle.....we can get as many as 60-70 messages a day at times,if we sat and replied to each and every one,plus converse with those we actually keep contact with,you would have no time to do anything else!

The site is far from a waste of time,hundreds if not thousands are clearly having a great time,it is what you make it.

oh and as pointed out by others,it is xmas,a point that seems to elude so many outside their 'dying fir a shag' bubble,most are busy with family and kids.

Saw this on the Lounge thread once. Take a quick look at 'Wants To Meet Today'. For instance, looking at both women & men within a 50 mile distance of Glasgow - 44 profiles wish to meet.

One woman, 43 men.

Its not rude at all. If you read the site rules etc it clearly states that due to the high number of mails a lot of couples and single fems get a no answer is to be treated as a no.

That's 5 per hour.

Perhaps the forum is sometimes an easier way of chatting with people first, I've sure noticed that over the past couple of days.

Just on that point. I've never understood why anyone would publicise their OF team allegiance on Fab. Surely it limits their opportunities?! Lol

Its the same in a club or pub if u love to dance like me to get the person to dance be full of smiles and be polite .but like here not everyone shares your views and u hav to take that rejection with a pinch of salt keep at and u will enjoy the dance .or emails in your case !!

I find this pitiful all I see and hear is a bitter negative man with unrealistic expectations, lazy expectant and boring.... If you want to stand out then make an effort. Think about what you want from this site and put the effort in identify what you are a looking for be clear about what your looking for... Clarity and straight talking is respected get some good pictures in flattering lighting play to your strength's tell people why they should meet you why you think they would enjoy it .... People love to to be informed and natural instinct creates curiosity.... And conversation... Just because we all have the same desires we all need different routes to satisfy those needs and desires xxx take a telling lol
