This is just an idea and just wondering what everyone else would think but............

Instead of Buzz refunding us all our £6 why doesn't he just donate all the money to the Marie Curie Charity that we were gonna be raising money for anyways.....I'd be happy for him to do this with my money as long as he could prove that was what he'd done with it.

Maybe I'm just too nice in my nature but I'd rather have the money to go somewhere that needed it that wait to have '£6' refunded to me....

Would be nice if everyone else agreed to this

we would love that thing is dont trust the person now would be better if money was given to another person we all trust. unless he can he can post a copy off the reciept on the forum

greig, sounds like a great idea.

i agree that the money should be given to the charity of choice.

i would be happy for either Buzz or Greig to do it.

I think everyone would want to see the receipt to ensure that it was donated.

Though i would say be patient, i truly believe eventually the money will be donated.

Heres a breakdown of our costs for sat

Appartment @ £105

pirates outfits 2 @ £25 each

tickets 2@ £6

total= £167

Cant get appartment money back paid in full and 28 day cancellation policy.

Pirates outfits been opened and non returnable.

Regarding the tickets and donating the money to charity we have no problem with that however it begs the question of how many tickets were bought and how much is donated which we will probably never know.

Well done to those who stepped in and offered there help to sort this mess out.

I appreciate peoples gripe at expenses incurred, all i will say is, untill you have a try at, with the best intentions of creating,a social, a meet, a party, i would'nt go rubbishing someone who simply tried to "make it happen",maybe untill had the facts anyway.
