You hear a lot of guys complaining about not getting any meets. I had a look through the meetings listing over the weekend and their were plenty meets for guys and seemed a few people getting let down with people not turning up.

I find if you put the effort in on fab you get great rewards and meet some great people.

Guys for some reason seem to think sending a cock pic and asking to fuck should work fine and dandy . They have no concept that fems on here get bombarded with messages etc .

If ye rely on here to get yer hole yer as well tossing in the towel ??

Guys that send cock pictures to a 100 different profiles a day are cunts.

I have a female friend who was wanted to join the site, she lasted all of an hour and was bombarded with some sick seedy messages and left for that reason

what....... they are choosing to use the site the way they wish, if people join up and they read the hints and tips and apply filters, it is minimised.

Still overwhelming for sure, but it is not for the faint hearted

We all use the site for what we want out of it. Using the filters can minimise a lot of messages. I still get messages from guys who obviously don't read my profile, but I say thanks, but no thanks and then block so they can't message again, as I'm sure others have done to me. Developing a thick skin is beneficial too lol.

We all state what we want or hope to get from fab . Putting on your profile makes it clear but that doesn't guarantee that anyone will read what we have written on it . So if it someone who msgs clearly hasn't read the profile and is being rude then block is the way forth I don't block all newbies of non verified users as I feel we were all that to start off with . But if they are rude to me then they have lost their chance . That's how I see it .

To some it's a lifestyle choice to some it's nothing better than the porn channel with an opportunity to get off . You can usually tell with the how many user no longer on site msgs you have at the end of a day lol

While filters may help with the quantity of mail unfortunately it can do nothing about the quality. The OP indicated that his friend was put off by the content of msgs. I know from my own point of _iew courtesy has definitely lessened over the years I've been here. I'd hate to be a newbie...I'd probably leave too!!

Having said that, there are of course some lovely people who are friendly and respectful.You do need broad shoulders though...both ladies AND gentlemen.

I got inundated when i first signed up. And that was with a one line profile and no pic!

A female friend of mine joined too and only lasted a few days. Said the messages she got were just too much. Her words were 'I don't mind a bit of filth but prefer to get to know someone first'

When I rejoined after some time off I had about 200 messages in a couple hours, there was nothing on my profile but I was getting complimented on my pics and how hot I was (the fuck?) and if I was a total newbie I would've fucked off.

When you're on and off here for years you know how it works. I still get some awful messages but that's the beauty of the block button, and then another block when they sign up with a different name

The issue is men well out number women on here that's a fact. Roughly get 200 messages a day. There's times it just gets to much n delete the whole lot. It takes time to find the good people who genuinely want to meet up. Abuse can sicken you. But onces you have had a few good meets its worth the effort.also the fun and people I'd call friends now.
