I think Billy is good, but his later stuff (last 15 years) is over rated.

I'm liking Kevin Bridges at the moment.

Stewart Lee for me without question, for those still alive at least. Bill Hicks otherwise. Really Like Reginald D. Hunter and Jarred Christmas as well. Lou prefers Sarah Millican or Kevin Bridges.

more north lincs than mids!

Never seen any comedian live, yet! Going to see Jimmy Carr in January and can't wait.

Would also love to see Sarah Millican and Kevin Bridges.

Like Jon Richardson's humour on 8 Out of 10 Cats (Does Countdown)

I really enjoy live comedy and I'm lucky to see a fair bit. This month it'll be 7 shows, which makes me feel like I've won the ruddy lottery. Ross Noble is brilliant. Johnny Vegas is a force of nature. Daniel Kitson is sublime and could be massive with his talent, if he didn't wish to be so obscure. Henning Wehn is very talented. However, some of the circuit comedians, doing 20 spots punch well above their weight. Caimh McDonnell is a man to watch, as is Adam Staunton.

I feel that Evans, Connelly and Kay have been living off their reputations for the last few years, though.

"Rhod Gilbert John bishop "

You've not understood the question, have you? It wasn't "name a man who makes a living out of having a funny sounding accent", this was about comedians!

I've seen a few good ones live but I liked Alan Davies as he was a bit more unusual than regular stand-up comedians.

Bill Hicks - taken too young

"Cats" Calman's dad Kenny is a bit of a comedian - that Calman Commission report was a real stoater and better than her material. Miaow.
