How do you know a fake profile from a genuine?

Intuition is a wonderful thing

You are always going to get the numpties who jump on and off the site as and when they please, whether their reasons are genuine or not, perhaps its because they can!

If in doubt block, report and move on

That and they seem to be after only one thing such as a girl looking for a threesome with her fb. Had that turn out to be a guy before just looking for a girl as the female "needed to cancel"

Being a cynic, I tend to be a tad suspicious of the 'horny 19 year old student' who has stunning face pics (no doubt nicked from some poor soul on FAcebook!) who wants you to message what you'd do with them.

You just know it's going to be a 22 stone guy called Gerald who lives with his mum and 4 cats in Lesmahagow. Lol

American plug sockets in the back ground of pics is another classic. Clearly nicked from a porno.

They are easy to spot i think but some slip through he net from time to time but not much gets past me .

I had one guy chat to me recently for about three weeks then he deleted his account but I was a bit suspicious of the profile from day one so was cautious in what I spoke to him about to him lol.

Ones that are so obvious are the so called newbies here to say hello only on one week but chatting away and posting away like they been here for years and that usually because they have been and they soon get found out lol .

Any suspicious profiles just report

dont waste your time reporting fake profiles to admin....reported one that had a couple whi said they were married and she was 23... Shame she had avertised herself on a well known escort site saying she had just turned 18... exact same pics on both sites and if you went by the verifications on their profile she would only have just turned 16 if even...on their first verification. Gave admin details of the other site and nothing happened except them blocking me..lol...

Someone or pathetic person - had did a copy and paste for facebook or twitter or something else

I felt really sorry for her that her photos were put on here - in fact I felt sick

Need to let off steam before I post again

totally agree. I reported a guy and his orofile said 28 his facebooks 21, hes still on. Never met him but because i wouldnt he Turned nasty

Not long reported a fake profile,pics looked too good to be true so put em through google images and found them to be stolen from some European calendar!

I always check any images on google amazing how many porn stars are swingers on here lol.

if i message someone new i always say if genuine come chat if they look suspect amazing how many profiles have been deleted after that so many fakes makes it so hard for genuine folk here.

I see the one you mean There is also one that is supposed to be a couple but the only time they are on it just seems to be the guy on his own looking for guys to come over and wank to porn, ffs at least be honest if that is what you are looking for

We tend to do well in recognising fakes.

Single bi female who is only looking to meet other females and not guys, but has been verified by 1 guy and no one else.

We got a msg of a female that had been on for over a year but not one verification, when I asked why she said she liked to keep things private. Aye good one pal.

Also seen pictures from a couples profile that we knew although they have left the site and had miraculously moved 50 miles away. I reported it and fab removed it in no time at all. Was good because it had the woman's face public and pictures of her having fun.

To check pics i use my phone just select pic and hold then window pops up with option search google then click and watch the arseholes reveal before your eyes.

As a single guy I can't say I agree with the verification aspect. I've been on here for weeks n had one meet cos I got the sympathy vote. It can be difficult meeting therefore no verification. As for pics. I always send with first chat n see what happens. .. obvi my shrek resemblance isn't everyone cup o tea. .... lol

Loads of different things to look out for but being on the site for a long time with no verifications is a warning sign. Or same but having one verification as 'met the make half of this couple the other night', again warnings signs.

Mind you, we were contacted by a single fem last year who only had two pics in private, no verifications and a very short profile so naturally I assumed she was fake and told her so. To her credit, she said she could prove she wasn't, flicked on Skype with us both later in the evening and sure enough, very hot! She came round that weekend and we had a brilliant night so not always fake!

I'm on and off here. I get fed up from time to time and delete my profile but always end up coming back. I've been verified in the past by a few members but I don't want to keep asking them to verify me every time I leave then come back.

My profile just now probably looks fake but I've not had the time to take pics etc for it but I will
