okay - having read the French Toast thread - and some of the craziness that it has attracted - I'm moving to shut this one down now.

Many varieties of cheese are delicious. Acceptable seasoning includes black pepper / Worcester sauce.

We're done here.

It's ALWAYS been Roasted Cheese to me. For most it's cheese on toast.

However for the Americans and their Grilled Cheese, there is now a contraptions out there that let's them grill their cheese, flip it and then put it on toasted bread.

Toasted granary. Grated cheddar mixed with an egg. Spread on toast. Place under preheated grill till hrowned. Fear not the blackened edge to toast.

Serve sliced halfways and accompanied by HP sauce.

Goatses loves cheesed toasts.

Toasted cheese it is.

Cheese on toast is cheese on top of toast - not toasted.

Roasted cheese is done in oven, like roasted peppers, or roast potatoes.

So it toasted cheese people!
