Xmas decorations shouldnt be put up until its december & down the day after new year

Yup couple of flats near my house puts up stupid decorations every year for Xmas and they put them up 2 weeks ago Like WTF?

They even hang some between the two verandas? Again WTF!

There's a house near me with their tree up and lights round their house. Someone told me they had them up at the weekend but I didn't believe them.

Why would you the tree will need dusted before Christmas it will be up for so long

I love all my Xmas stuff up because of my boys we put them up 1st December then they can count down the sleeps due to them being autistic the lights & all that keep them calm

One thing I love doing is put the tree in a metal dustbin after New Year and set fire to it. They go like rocket fuel. Dont try in your woodburner though.

The Xmas decorations don't go up until about a week before Xmas and they come down the first weekend after new year

Whilst I'm happy to see them, they do get boring by then

I think it should be made a law if you put xmas decorations up before December then wee ned are allowed to egg your house for being a fool lol
