Anyone ever bumped into a fellow fabber whilst out in public?

I had my kids swimming today and saw a fellow fabber, easily given away by her buoyancy aids

I normally meet fellow fabbers in public first. It's a bit safer that way.

I have bumped into a guy at a charity night that I met at a fab social. He was with his girlfriend that's not on fab

Dunfermline

We had a social meet with a single fem who told us she was married and playing away. A few weeks later I (jamie) was sitting in the doctors waiting room and recognised a voice, looked and our meet was sitting with a guy.

Over there

A good few years back I spent a lovely couple of afternoons with a couple from another site.

Six months later I was at work in a school one day - and discovered that 'miss' was known by a different name to me...

I got another invite after that day...

I was out on my bike one day and a guy approached and asked if I was biker bob from fab. Seems he had recognised the bike and my leathers.
