That Awkward moment...

West Lothian

So this afternoon after my usual procrastination in the gym I went for a swim, feeling a few lb's lighter after a tough week I pushed myself to do more lengths that usual in the pool, just as I was feeling epic and full of self confidence at my achievement in the pool I notice two very fit and attractive lifeguards watching me glide through the water like a slightly ginger Ian Thorpe ... I glanced over with a wry smile, inhaled a gob full of water, coughed spluttered and sunk like a trident sub... fortunately I was in the shallow end and was able to save myself the embarrassment of being 'rescued'.... alas my two admirers (or maybe just admirers in my head) had turned against me and had ruptured into full belly laughter .... don't you just love those awkward moments, I made my exit stage left for the showers....

Anyway anyone else had some awkward moments recently?

Far too many to mention, I am unfortunately naturally clumsy, accident prone and blessed with all the grace of a baby elephant.

If your looking for me & can't find me it's probably because I've fallen over my own feet

Once did the unthinkable years ago & walk around my whole work with my skirt tucked into my tights. Not pleasant, it was winter & I had my warmest woolies on!

I once knocked myself out as a kid by trying to dive into a pool at the magnum centre in irvine only to realise it was a paddling pool and only a foot deep of water, was on a primary school trip too

Ouch

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

I was working one day but had no time for lunch and I was starving,I was stopped at traffic lights when I suddenly remembered I had a banana in my bag so I get it out and take a bite of it.. Ok truth is I take two huge big bites of it lol,so I turn to my right and there is this adonis sitting in the car next to me and there I was looking like a little hamster storing it's nuts with two cheek fulls of banana

The guy pulls away laughing as I'm sat very red faced lol.

Don't tell me it was the pool where the water doesn't even reach your ankles?

Little round pool if I remember right, God knows I must've thought it was a plunge pool or something but boy did that hurt, didn't even land fully in it, I just kinda fell sideways so wasn't an issue of drowning as I was laid out flat on the tiles haha

Haha this has happened to me a few times, one of them I had to get out the pool and I was squelching like a beached whale, honestly thought my time was up, scary shit indeed!

Happened to me at the young age of 15 in Ibiza! Walking down the street, admiring a group of rowdy scantily clad young females on the other side of the road, when bam! Walked right into a stone lamppost! Arms and legs up either side like something out a cartoon lol
