Hormones!

Ok how long do the teenage hormonal strops go on for? It's been that long since I was a teenager I've forgotten.

I don't think I'm going to make it through this "phase".

Between my hormones and teenage hormones I think there's gonna be fireworks!

My son is 14.. He has been stroppy since 10! Some days is like living with Kevin from Harry Enfield. However others I realise how mature he's suddenly become and just how lucky I am. You'll survive X

For me it was a few years lol

Its pretty much like the 'terrible twos' but with bigger kids. Their brains are changing, growing and learning things again so they act out in any way they can. Tantrums and all that.

My eldest is 8 and already she's getting more moody and bratty. Her newest thing is shouting at me 'You don't decide what I wear!'

Hope you both get through this phase intact

Both of mine say Mum were never leaving you, don't worry we will always live here with you ".........

And then I start crying, of course it's tears of joy!!!

Glad I'm not the only one, it does sometimes fell like you cant win for losing though.

Love them to bits but if they'd spent more time on the "after" bit at antenatal classes as opposed to the bloody labour I might have been a bit more prepared lol

Im still a big mammies boy lol. My lads 5 and though he kicks up shit with his mam hes a bloody angel with me or his grannies. I matured quickly but stopped at 18......I. Still at 18 hormonally! Though my bones argue against t.

Enjoy your sprogs while you have them. But boot them out at your will lol x

I need some kind of regular getting through the teenage years type social so I can have a good drink & punt the darlings off to granny's for a sleepover.

It's good when you punt them off to friends for a sleepover but downside is that you end up with your own kids and more the following weekend lol

Makes the naughty times more naughty I guess when you know you can't just drop everything at the drop of a hat you tend to enjoy them much more

We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel - I think.

Whilst they are both living at home we have very strict rules in place that cover attitude, chores and state of the room. I guess the thought of me going off in one is enough to keep them both in check.

Don't be scared to tell them what affect their behaviour has on others and persevere

Think I've been really lucky my 11 year old hit puberty at 9 xx not had any bother from him ........yet

He's really mature looks and acts 14/15 but to tantrums or strops at all xx
