anyone know of any way 2 get rid of heartburn? can i just add that i hate milk so thats out the question, have had 4 about an hour now!!

after a meal chew gum helps the saliva break down acid reflux dont rush your meals ,relax between courses ,and stay away from curry and cayene pepper their the worse for bringing on acid reflux

This does work, but do not take it to often as it is very bad for you , I was suffering with heartburn for months and used this before I went to the doctor, who was horrified and warned me not to take anymore, I advise Gaviscon and if it persists go to the doctor.

Gaviscon, Omeprazole or Pantoprazole.

The latter 2 only available at the quacks. I think Zantac is available over the counter also.

Milk is prob one of the worst things to take.

The sooner people realise it is almost always down to the bacteria pylori... thingy or whatever and is easily cured for all time with the correct antibiotic.

You could just get the scary op where they hack your stomach out ,turn it inside out,scrub with domestos and stich it back again....simple procedure really .

Bisodol or Rennies, but be careful not to take too many as negating all the acid too often will lead you to constipation. Both.can be bought over the counter. Longer term look for the trigger food or drink, red wine springs to mind as does too much fried or fatty food.....also dressings like Mayo etc etc

Could always surgically remove your heart, and put it in a bucket of iced water?!?!?!?! Just make sure you re attach it before ya blood runs out
