Last night when out, I was chatting to this older man. He was nice enough but not at all for me. When he made a move I politely declined. He told me it was the nicest knock back he had ever had.

What's the best and worst one you have ever had or given? ?

I knocked back someone the other night but without going into details their reaction was not very pleasant at all to say the least.

I have always been polite with a no thanks to some guys I've had some of the most nasty replies one time I was told he only messaged me because it would have been my only chance of a shag

We all know knock backs aren't nice, but they're a part of life. That said there's only so much you can do to soften them the reaction depends very much on the other person. Some people just can't take a no

After a coffee meet and the person turning up not being the one in the pictures, I declined an offer as politely as I could and she just went bananas

We had a lovely knock back they thanked us for our message and face pics but said although they found us attractive they feared we would eat them alive, I thanked them for their lovely knock back

Mr..... I met a woman for a coffe and 1 st date thingy from a dating website and new within a min or 2 it wasn't for me , and spent the next half hour wondering how to let her down nicely pmsl .... She thanked me for the coffe and politely told me I wasn't her type and noore contact would happen , and I was gutted on the way home and even tried for a second date!! A strange feeling

Knockback never nice granted but always feel its best to remain upbeat and pleasant after all some meets can be nice socially doesn't mean anything else is going to happen
