Back in the eighties I went to work still pissed from the night before.

Sobered up about lunchtime, looked down at what I was wearing:

Black/grey tartan cord trousers, green and white striped shirt and a Paisley pattern tie!

Haha was it a poodle perm or a bit bigger curls?

I had three perms in 48 hours to try and get it to take. Don't know how my hair didn't fall out

Oof, the shell suits. I remember wearing a BLUE one many times.

They certainly must be quite a few of us that had shell suits. (what was I thinking, lol)

God I had so many fashion disasters growing up

Pink tartan trouser suit that I loved when I was 10

Denim skirt and matching jacket at 11

Then those adidas popper trackies. Just to name a few

Oh remember those big clip-in bows for your hair loved them

I had a pair of gold leather trousers and I wore it with a purple fluffy jacket. I was so cool ...

I got a perm and she also did my fringe

Sweater shop jumpers. Though we all had them

Age giveaway....hot pants/jumpsuits/cheesecloth/Brutus jeans.....the list is endless.....the perms are legendary. The worst one had my mother in tears claiming that if she had known what I was about to do I would have been locked in my room!

Went to a friends in a purple mohair jumper one night and left her cream settee (and new baby) covered in it!!!!
