Around Scotland are there any specific hotels people tend to use or are they basically all the same in terms of their attitude to people having a bit fun in their room.

The other side of the coin as well - anyone been to a hotel where fun was specifically frowned upon by staff?

I just us Travelodge or premier inns, bit expensive depending on the day !!!

I'm pretty sure they know what's going on behind closed doors.

And how can fun be frowned upon by staff if they don't know what's going on?

We don't check in and say him were Mr n Mrs sonso and we're swingers

We met friends of ours in a lovely hotel recently and halfway through our fun, we heard the keycard being put in the door outside so one of our friends ran to the door and asked what the manager thought he was doing. He said they though the room was supposed to be unoccupied and wondered why he could hear noises coming from inside!!

Aye, right you did!!

As a much younger man I can remember staying in the lovely secluded Dryburgh Abbey Hotel near Melrose.

All I could hear one evening was this lady moaning in delight as she was being hammered next door. Then the banging continued as someone went to the toilet and someone left the room lol

At that young age I was very confused and pretty excited.

If I knew now what I do now, I'd have chapped the door and say I was invited lol

I frequently stay in hotels in Scotland, I have friends over and have never had an issue, I find if your respectful of other guests there shouldn't be a problem.
