First time poster on here having a rant, Anyone have any tips for successfull meets, we are a cpl in fife and only have one weekend a month free, after chatting to various couples / guys only to be stood up or let down with a few hours notice leaving it too late to arrange something else, had a free night tonight but were not free till after 10.30. Arranged to meet a guy been chatting all evening and he was made well aware what time we were free then turns round and says oh its too late, We try to look at verifications but seems these mean nothing, Any tips??? Getting very frustrated

Try and get to a social or a club.

Yeh we saw the thread on there may be a fife social getting arranged so keeping an eye on that, Trying to fit things in is hard, but deffo gonna try get to a social they sound good

Maybe try not crushing the meet

Chest to the same guy/ cpl a few weeks leading up to the actual date

That way a bit of teasing and antisapation might help the actual meet go ahead

Just a thought

Unfortunately there's no guarantee's on here, that said, you could try exchanging mobile numbers and have a chat on the phone - If they won't, chances are you've got a time waster or picture collector

What do you say on the phone? The same as you'd say when you meet

Verifications and pictures can be faked - unfortunately.

That said, it's really just a case of Each to their own, after all that's what makes the world go round.

Doesn't matter what happens, there's no 100% guarantee they'll show.

Sorry I disagree we have been here about 7 yrs and I would never and have never chatted to anyone on a phone before meeting and we are neither time wasters or pic collectors.

OP gut instinct goes a long way on fab hopefully some good luck will come your way soon.
