Which did you grow up in?

And which would you prefer now?

I've always lived in the city but would love to have a home out in the country, a nice wee village somewhere or something like that

Lx

Born and brought up in the city but have been a country bumpkin for 25 years now. I think deep down I'm a city gal though. My friends always remark how I "come alive" when we get off the train. I love the energy, people and bright lights.

Angus & Findhorn

in a very rural setting in a small English village until I was 11, then a small Scottish town until I left for the big town to attend Art School.

Glasgow

Born and bred in Glasgow, South side.

Love it. But admittedly live in a very quiet area.

Spent a few years in Kilmarnock.

Liked the rural feel, but hated the small town mentality.

I'm a country bumpkin born and bred. Lived in Auld Reekie for a while but I'm back to my roots now with no desire to leave.

I'd much prefer to live in the country but it's a pure pain when you can't drive and refuse to learn

Lived innthis wee fife town till i was 16, moved to Herts then North London for 18 years, coming back home was autimatic for me, but its not the same, bigger and less familiar faces around sadly.

My job takes me all over Scotland and some places i end up in i instantly like to the point i tell myself,,"i could live ere"

Born and brought up i a small town by the sea. Lived in cities , villages, towns. Would love to lie on the edge of a village within a half hour of a city. Ducks, water, rabbits a coupla chicakens and a big fuck off shed for making stuff in

I was brought up in a house with a big garden. I love the outdoors and go up North whenever I can.

Spent first 5 years in country, then next 23 years in city, then 8 years in country and now back near city.

I prefer country or outskirts of a city, can't do city centres do my head in x

Glasgow

City born, and still reside there.

My grandparents lived in the country, and although it has it's qualities, I'm too city-centric to see myself living outwith one.

near Glasgow

Born and grew up as a Soothsider, and have never been far from the countryside.

And my main pastime allows me to spend regular time in the countryside which I enjoy.
