"My close friend suffered with this with her third child and was in a lot of pain. She ended up needing a stick for support when walking and sitting on a pillow for comfort. She was warned the symptoms might still be there for a wee while after the baby came but was very quickly back to normal thank goodness and fit as a flea now so don't despair! Big hugs Charlie xx" Yes I read that the pain tends to go almost after babys born. Just don't want to rely on paracetamol for the pain. Hopefully it won't be much longer. thanks jinty.xx

"My friend suffered with it too. I'm a bit clueless about it but I know she wore a belt and it had stopped being so bad in at least the last 6 weeks of her pregnancy. So as much as I'm not being helpful, there is hope it could go away before the baba is born! Hope you feel more comfortable soon xx " Thanks pink here's hoping

"The hospital you are booked in should have a number for you to self refer to their physiotherapy department. Yes a belt might help but they can advise you re:any exercises, how to move/turn in bed & also positions for labour. They can also check to make sure your pelvis isn't out of alignment. They could also have given you a belt without having to but one. It should resolve itself fairly quickly following delivery. R" Thanks, I'll call them tomorrow and ask them.
