Now I understand why people ask for face pics, there has to be an attraction, a spark. I think I understand that people would like to see who they are chatting to. I also understand that the amount of cock pics on here is ridiculous and woman want a face pic for a change. But what I don't understand is why some people say that a face pic must be on a message but do not have face pics of there own. I have chatted and met some awesome people on here but sometimes I feel that some people can be a bit closed minded. Wonder what everyone else thinks?

I've no issue with showing my face if someone asks for it but I also wouldn't demand a face picture. If the chat goes well then I'd suggest exchanging one. If no attraction then fair enough x

Folk can put what they want on there profile. We ask for a face pic, we always send with first message, works for us.

I've been chatting to someone for nearly 6 months never showed a few pic due to his job lol or so he says never been verified either but if it's a sad ex behind the profile he must be missing me

All good points. I don't mind swapping face ( or anything else lol) pics. Lil miss has seen my face and she didn't run away immediately lol. But I do think there should be an etiquette of if requesting a face pic then one should be sent back. Also I understand that some people might not want to show their face because of work etc or they think that they take a bad photo etc. just annoys me when someone asks but doesn't return.

I agree with this. I think if it is time to get down and dirty then a face pic should be swapped but if it's just in the early stages of chat then it shouldn't matter to much.

so you'd rather go blind and it possibly turn out to be a work colleague or something like that that sawp a face pic beforehand?

Nope I'd never do it I'd hate to waste that precious time meeting someone i may or may not be attracted to than spending that time with someone i know for sure I am.

Agree with this. Would be really awkward to have been chatting to someone for a while and getting along well only to realise when they send a pic that there's no physical attraction.

Again I kinda agree but the reason I put this thread up was basically because I got a message from a woman saying" face pic" I responded with " yeah sure want to swap" I then got " I don't give out face pics" I couldn't even respond after that but I checked the page and there it was " don't message me without face pic attached" I just don't get it lol

We used to be like, no face pics!!!! Oh my god what if they know us!!!!!

So f@#cking what!! That's our moto now, obviously, once we've sent a couple of messages, your not going to send it to a numpty!

But at least you know what they look like early on, and can decide wether you want to continue chatting.....Or not!

This is why I don't just give out my pic willy nilly. It could be collectors. I think that instead of face pics then you should video chat. Most phones you can use Skype on now and even if you don't use it often just having it for security. Unless any other ideas?

Only time I've ever felt wary about sending a face pic was when a couple contacted me, very insistant from the first message that it was a must do. Firstly, I hate being told what to do, and secondly their messages were creepy - plus the pics never had both of them in them either. Eventually cut ties and they're no longer registered. Probably a single 'gent'.
