Has anyone ever been to Poland?

Found out this morning that I'm going to Poland Later this week for work purposes! One maybe two nights!

Just wondering if anyone has ever been to see what it's like! Not sure what to expect!

if you are only going for one or two nights, and working, I wouldn't worry what the country is like... the people are friendly enough, and am sure there are macdonalds etc

I've been to Poland and left the hotel room everyday without any problems!

A great place to visit, but as others have said if you are only there for 1 or 2 days and working you may not get to see much of it.

My mate got pissed when he was in Poland , he got in a taxi , the taxi stopped and two guys got in and he was taken to a cash point and had as much cash as he was allowed taken out under knife point !!!!

Warsaw's a great city to visit just make sure you use a licensed taxi as there's loads of unlicensed ones on the streets

Finally got the go ahead for going tomorrow!

The downside is I fly over first thing tomorrow then back on Friday about lunch time! Won't get to see much of Warsaw!

The guy I'm going with is a bit boring as well so no madness I think!
