Looking for sympathy

Dislocated my shoulder and cracked my ribs, I've had worse pain but can't get a good sleep! I could honestly greet as I'm that tired

Lots of sympathy for that. Sleep is impossible for more than 15 mins at a time. Try sleeping in a big armchair. Helped me when my back was knacked.

Thanks folks.

I sleep a certain way, arm under the pillow on my side. Not a problem falling asleep as I do it on my right hand side but within 20 mins or so I'm waking up in agony as I've turned onto my left side and it's doing my head in

aww, can sympathise totally... I have cracked my ribs twice, and the first time I honestly thought I was havin a heart attack!! propping up was the only way I could get to sleep

Ouch that sounds much worse than mine! I've been signed off work for 4 weeks so I'm not expecting it to let up anytime soon

put a pillow against your back it makes it harder for you to turn over or try sleeping in a reclining chair both help me

Try this, lye on your back with you left raised up on a pillow,

Then close you eyes and imagine your in a warm bath that feels like silk on your body, slow your breathing down, and imagine u can hear the ocean waves from your warm bath, and lust lye there and hopefully drift off to sleep,

Know your pain that's what I had to do,

Got my 7 year old son here tonight but he has been asleep since 8pm lol

I did it playing fives, I thought that I would go in goals for the rest of the night, not my best idea ever, six weeks of trying not to laugh (or sneeze) but not as sore as a good boot in the chuckies
