Where's good to go in shawlands, night out on Friday and starting in shawlands but have no idea where to go and where to avoid!?

Waverley tea rooms is my favourite because of the cocktails but the corona is alright as well. There's plenty of choice.

dont go to the corona whatever you do.. BRUTAL!! full of neds and nedettes! Linen and the tea rooms are ok. The glad cafe facing queens park is a real cool bar.

Is roscos still opened been a while since i lived in that neck of the woods I used to be a manager a pub Called sir stirling maxwells many moons ago

Sadly roscos closed a few years ago. Now just an empty building.

Sad. So many good memories!

Waverly Tea Rooms or The Social. Even the Granary if you're talking a drink before clubbing or a relatively quiet night. Shame the closed Stube though

God the Corona still going ? I lived in Shawlands, Govanhill, Queens Park, Kings Park, Pollock Shaws, Pollock Shields etc, used to be some good places in Shawlands and around a bout great memories from my teens n early twenties.

Jayz Bar on Kilmarnock road is good, they have live music nights quite a lot. Sunday for the open mic night is especially good.I have also been to Linnen which was a good night too. Avoid the Corona and the Shed though.
