Seems lots of the posts on here eventually take a confrontational turn with nipping and snipping between posters.

Who can be bothered with it?

I am here for a laugh and a bit of fun.

See enough bitching etc in daily life.

Can't this place be a safe haven from all that crap?

Nope sorry,

There is always one person that has to get up everyone's back without fail,

Some can bite their tongues but some( me includes) can't sometimes,

Then there's the fatal attraction posters

I tend to keep clear of the threads I don't like also the peoples comments as its really not worth my effort im here to enjoy myself not stress myself out

Its the Scotland Forum, and most here are Scottish.

Some threads are totally light hearted, some invite debate and discussion, all good.

The written word,sentence is oh so often miss-read, the sentiment woosh taken in its worst case,and people pounce.

Put that same discussion in a real situation, group of folks in a room or pub, the thing we scots are very good at is laughing at ourselves/bringing our friends back down to earth with sometimes a quick funny one word even, response,(or two), "yer arse", "yer chookies", or a nudge on the shoulder to tell them think they are full o s****, and generally it keeps things in perspective and is fun usally.

You cant do or even begin to convey that light hearted attitude on here via the written word.

And as i said, so many pounce on the worst case scenario wit sometimes zero, no hesitation,

From what I see it's always the same few people and it's usually because someone they don't like or have them blocked has posted. I tend to just avoid those threads these days, I'm barely on forums anymore because it's always the same shit. Shows more about the people creating the confrontation than the people it's aimed at though.

Just read, breathe and move along lol!

Some people just cant read what some write without thinking its negative or all aimed at them , forums are for all not everything thats posted is about the select few that cant read past anything negative or thats not aimed specifically about kissing their ass .

I certainly notice im a lurker that certain ones that their personality shows through their posts some lovely but some are very up on themselves always see talk of arse licking but surely is the term not called rimming just a wee thought so I tend to chat to the nicer posters thats my tuppence worth whether some like it or not forums are mentioned to be fun but for some reason I see digs at folk why spoil it for others unless people are jealous of others popularity
