Personally. I don't find this to be true.

Sometimes it can be jack but 99% of the time my meets have exceeded my expectations so it's all good

Found this Occasionally preferred the anticipation better than the meet so I've found that they don't have what they say on the label in the tin

Every time I host a party I let myself get stressed about how it will go, who will turn up and last minute drop-outs, have I invited too many? Not enough? Then the first couple turn up, I have a glass of wine and from then on everything is good.
