You cant .... people create an impression of themselves they want others to have. You have absolutely no way of truly knowing whether they are a "beautiful" person on the inside as lets face it they give off a bad impression and the chances sex are greatly reduced.

I think that is a fair statement William and there is nothing wrong with it, different strokes for different folks.

The chat rooms & the forums have been like that for years and will be for the next few.

People meet and forge very strong bonds, sometimes they fall out and see less than beautiful antics.

I think the forum has been a lot better over the last few weeks and many of the people above have been instrumental in that. It has been more discussion based.

I posted above based on my experience and what I have observed in others. It is with a sense of realism and I didn't comment further once I established this wasn't a thread to discuss, but to agree.

Conversely some people can't see a positive thread appearing without pissing on everyone's chips with "pearls of wisdom". I think someone has already made mention of the fact that if you don't like a thread, or it's positivity doesn't agree with you why contribute? Loads of threads I've seen and thought to myself "I smell shite here" I just don't post.

I'm well aware that it's a public forum and that people can post what they want but perhaps they would should post on threads that align with their particular disposition/outlook/perspective

Can I just say as my postscript to this thread, you never, ever truly know a person anyway. In my life I've been surprised, shocked and let down by people I thought i could trust to the end of the earth after knowing them intimately for over 30 years. We do however, know what we LIKE in a person be it looks, personality, humour or indeed acts of kindness and showing a caring nature. Even now after my life's experiences I choose to approach others positively ...with trust and friendship. That only changes if I'm let down. Those I am friends with on fab and those I chat to I enjoy immensely as individuals. I believe this thread came from a good place....and that is the memory I shall choose to have of it. We ALL have people we admire....ALL of us. Peace, love and understanding. X

Fly and I met online - just because you haven't met someone doesn't mean you cannot begin to from an opinion of them.

We have been lucky, so far, all the people we have met on here have been lovely. I think you can avoid the negativity by not giving it any air space.

There are people who I consider to be beautiful both in character and looks. A lot of those people I now consider to be friends. Some are still active and on the site and some have already left but they have all played their part, in a variety of ways, in helping me find my feet on Fab, getting to know people at socials and for some fun in one away or another.

"Can I just say as my postscript to this thread, you never, ever truly know a person anyway. In my life I've been surprised, shocked and let down by people I thought i could trust to the end of the earth after knowing them intimately for over 30 years. We do however, know what we LIKE in a person be it looks, personality, humour or indeed acts of kindness and showing a caring nature. Even now after my life's experiences I choose to approach others positively ...with trust and friendship. That only changes if I'm let down. Those I am friends with on fab and those I chat to I enjoy immensely as individuals. I believe this thread came from a good place....and that is the memory I shall choose to have of it. We ALL have people we admire....ALL of us. Peace, love and understanding. X "

Totally agree i've had people and one person who i thought i knew so well, to find out they were just manipulative, compulsive liars, back stabbing nasty pieces of s**t. But im a great believer in karma xx

For me , I'm human , I have feelings , likes and dislikes . I have gut feelings and enjoy meeting new people .

I'm not fake or out to massage anyone's ego and lick ass...

However , being on an online swinging site doesn't make me any less real or a detached person . People meet online the chat they build bonds and begin to friendships from those bonds . They might meet one to one of at a party or club or perhaps in a social setting . So theye go from being ian online friend to a real life friend no ??

My connections with those people aren't any different to those I'd make in a workplace or in the local pub. If I like you I like you its that simple . I choose to be happy upbeat and dare I say positive . Maybe some folks should try it once instead of sat waiting for threads like these to have a go because it's not to their tastes .

Online friendships can and do work and can lead to so much more than a "shag". Look at Facebook pof and many more .. live and let live or maybe we should make a post for the biggest tosser or most negative people and put their names on here ?? But that's another story or post .. oops no that wouldn't be allowed to it would be seen to be argumentative and causing trouble . Sadly some folk enjoy that but do so in a sneaky manner and think they are clever and not noticed ... eh hello people can see right through it

I think there are many beautiful people on here . Some I'm met lots of times some only a few. Glad to sat I've got some wonderful friends who I'm glad are in my life and not ashamed to say hope they always will be "swinging site or not"

We are all beautiful in our own ways and who gives anyone the right to stop us saying who that person is . So i say well done Greg your post was intended to lift someone's spirits and I'm sure that they appreciate it . Shame it can't be just taken for what it was but can't please everyone .. xx
