My granny's old Singer sewing machine with the treadle. It was like the thing was going to take off sometimes.....and her clock that had to be wound up every night and chimed every quarter hour....

...and our old outside cludgy! We did have one indoors too though...

Great memories folks. i also have my wee Grandma's button tub. Carpet that didn't go all the way to the walls. Folk taking them outside to the washing line to beat the stoor out. Carpet sweepers. Paddy's Market! Our favourite place to visit when I was younger. The Barras were amazing then too. Party line phones. Sx

The guy shouting 'Coal!' every weekend on his way round the streets. My mum would always forget then had to dash down before he left to get some coal for the fire lol I miss having a coal fire, its so relaxing!
