I'm a bit of a classic soul freak and was just wondering if there are any other Fab members who share my passion for this genre of music? I love Sam Cooke ,Bill Withers, Aretha Franklin, Sam n Dave, The Temptations, The Supremes, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder to name but a few. My top 3 classic soul tunes would be

Sam Cooke- A Change Gonna Come

Otis Redding- These Arms of Mine

Aretha Franklin- You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman

Oh there are too many to mention. Obviously James brown is the king. Aretha is the queen of soul. I'm really going through a Martha reeves thing right now, with "love the one your with" one of my favs. Not to mention "the power of love". Then there's Etta James, Jenny Rodgers, lyn collins. Candy staton the Kia goes on.

Do you listen to the Craig Charles funk @ soul show on 6 music? Saturday's at 6pm. 3 hours of the best music on the radio!

I have just listened to this time right this try second. Definitely One of my favourites. Right now I'm listening to " people get ready" by the impressions. St in the park, with my sunglasses on! Cos the music sounds better with your sun lasses on
