Booked in for a half sleeve in two weeks time. Been scouring the Internet looking for ideas and coming up with nowt. Any ideas? Good tattoo sites I can look at? Or any pics that I can get ideas from? Cheers

Agree with you both. Personal View Here... its not only silly and stupid but embarressing and a recipe for disaster.

Go in and look at your artists portfolio. All reputable shops will have one. Also if still drawing black ask if you can postpone the appointment I have a credit note for two appointments... and have shifted the date umpteen times for previous appointments as long as you give them enough notice it should be ok.

try tattoojohhny, for ideas or just google tattoo and rough ide what you looking for ,

there a guy in usa called Robert pho who does amazing works check his site out

BUT REMEBER THIS IS FOR LIFE A SO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ,

I HAD A PAL WHO GOT ONE YRS AGO AND WANTED RID OF IT DAY AFTER HE GOT IT !!

Yeah have to agree with what's already been said. Especially if you're going in for something as big as a sleeve it should be something you actually want and have though about properly.

Hell I wanted mine since I was 16 and didn't actually get it until I was 22, but never changed my mind on what I wanted.

Have a look at Tattoodo. Customs tattoo designs online (run by Ami James of Miami Ink so should be pretty hot). Might be worth a look before you turn up at your tattooist with no idea what you're going to have done.

Not silly booking in and not knowing exactly what I want. It justo and I need to get my finger out. It's not the first tattoo I have so will be fine. I am sure trevs house of tattoos will keep me right. Thanks for the suggestions. Will have a wee look and see what I think and keep you posted x

Trev has done some good work on me in the past and he does a real good job, im talking at least 10 years back and the work he done is still as fresh as the day it was done

you may find some pics of the work he done on me, on his site

But know exactly what you want, Trev will do any design you want, it doesnt have to be out of one of his books, take a pic in of something you like and he will copy it

as many have said, you cant change mind when its done so make sure you know exactly what YOU are wanting

It's not silly really to book without having a design. Our local tattooist is booked up till may 2015 so people quite often book then look for a design. Anyway that's both arms done now lol

got mine done two months ago in Houston texas.picassos Guernica. 22 hours over 5 days of pain. so my advice would be to get it done over a few months!!!! lol

One of my sleeves is boog tattoos an American graffiti artist turned tattooist , he has some really nice stuff you should have a look ,

I got a tattoo last week on my hand by god it hurt. Mind you it took nearly 3 hrs was ment to go get it finished today but couldn't as still sore.
