As a child who experienced very powerful night terrors for me "Insidious" really, really terrifies me. It is all to real for me watching it, and I seem to get a twisted sense of nostalgic dread when watching it. Proper shit my pants stuff.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Horror has never bothered me... but there are some seriously jumpy moments in Event Horizon that spooked me.

And as a young teen amityville scared the hell outta me!

Do you think the era of scary horror movies is in the past? Or are we all a bit more hardened to blood and gore?

I used to get scared at some old horror movies, but modern attempts never seem to live up to my expectations.

I dont know if weve grown used to it... I think the world we've grown up has became so fucked up that we dont find these movies scary because murders and stuff happens alot more than then

I think that these days the film makers are more interest in shocking the audience than horrifying them, a true horror film gets inside your head.

pennywise the clown, watched that about a fortnight ago.

Tim curry was excellent, very menacing.

I have a phobia of clowns anyway, so have to admit, I cannot watch IT.

I find the saw type films disturbing rather than horror scary.
