Ok first post here from a lurker!!!!

It takes something to check out profiles read through the profiles, yes I do read them, and then find out that I'm too old by a year or whatever and there are some strange age ranges here, 46 is one that springs to mind. I understand why, but inside my head I'm still 25 and it's so annoying but hey ho just keep trying....

Lol yeah know what you mean at 36 I fall just outside the 25 - 35 bracket but out with the 40 - 55 one lol

Welcome to the forum, try not to relapse into lurking

I know what you mean about age ranges, at first glance some look a bit arbitrary but there is usually some sort of reasoning that makes sense to the profile holder.

The other thing with age ranges is that some members of the site stick strictly to them while others have a little bit of flexiblity and will sometimes make exceptions.

Well we are 38 and 37 and just a couple years of 40 and we can't get young or mature couples or female ither because cut line is 40 and the young couples is cut off is 36

We've played out with our age range with people we got on with at parties. There are advantages and disadvantages to actually having an age range specified though.

We are in the same situation, feel young, look younger than our years but few younger folk want to meet us cos of our age, until we meet them at socials. We do better from social nights out than we do from trying to meet via our profile.
