Started doing a bit of hill walking last year, not something I ever imagined myself doing but I'm really enjoying it. Hoping to do west highland way next year

The part round loch Lomond from rowardennan is murder, non walkers beware, makes the pint at the smugglers the best ever

Agree with last post - path along Loch Lomond side is really hard - you spend all your time climbing over tree roots. Did it many Easters ago and it pissed down all week - was great feeling getting a sauna at Fort William though.

Done it and also helped those mad bastards who run it in around 24hrs.

Loch lomond is definitely the hardest part. Bring midge spray and be prepared to clamber around trees there.

Yeah it'd be a great idea, always fancied it. With fellow fab members would give it a naughty twist

Best time to do it is early to mid may. Better chance of some good weather and also before the midgie season gets into full swing
