There's so much more going on in the books, I'd recommend reading them, they're absolutely brilliant. Still waiting on the next in the series as well. The tales of Dunc and Eg are good as well. They tie in with the history of Westeros

It's very difficult for the tv series to include everything in the books but to me it seems to follow them pretty closely. Wondering when the 'last' book or two will appear and also which surviving characters are going to survive (please do not post any spoilers for other people though if discussing this)

don't remember that one .the only one i remember that was canned was where they went back in time on earth through a portal ..vague I know but seen so many "alternate " world /series shows got brain overload been a fan of that genre of programme since Logans run including the film ....sad i know

walking dead has flailed a bit, in my opinion season 4 was the worst..obviously I'd never spoiler..but its a bit of a disjointed mess

I'm saving up on my GOT's lol

I quite liked season 4.

I also recommend -

Live action:

Grimm - modern day supernatural series based on the Works of the Brothers Grimm

Supernatural - Supernatual action/comedy series thats been goin on for 9 seasons

Marvels Agents of Shield - If you like the marvel movies you'll like this

Breaking Bad - Modern day action/thriller focused around cooking meth

Defiance - Sci-fi western with a good production

Sleepy hollow - Modern day telling of the classic tale, note its very silly but if you can get past that its AWESOME

Animated:

The Boondocks - series about a black family who move into a white neighborhood, and is actually a lot more inteligent and thought prrovoking that it sounds.

Bobs burgers - classic family sitcom but a very good one.
