Is about time there was a change of government in this country. Brown was never cut out to be PM and labour policy had begun to shift back towards old labour.

If the Lib/Tory government is allowed to work then it could be a good thing for this country.

The savage cuts we are facing would have needed to be made by whichever party formed the government so things would have been no less brutal under labour. According to the Office of National Statistics at end of March this year public sector net debt stood at £890 billion which is the equivalent of 62% of GDP. At least Clegg and Cameron are not going to keep throwing money at the problem in the hope that it will just go away.

Am ready for a bit of belt tightening here

Jeez ....

I thought this was going to be about Anal sex ...

Politics .... Sigh!

Ok .... here's my take. Despite the apparent reduction in support for the SNP in this election (I suspect tactical voting to keep conservatives out of Scotland) ....

Having a conservative (coallition) will strengthen the support for SNP in the forthcoming scottish elections ....

If things get difficult .... tax cuts etc it may even see an increased leaning towards independence ....

So this may actually be a very good result for SNP long term.
