Christmas Social 2014

Hi folks,

As many of you know Nawty_MissDynomite regulary hosts many successful socials and drinks nights in Glasgow over the years.

However with other commitments and a very busy schedule she is unable to host this years Christmas social . She has asked us to step in and take it on and we have agreed to do so.

We have been looking into a variety of venues over the last couple of days and many are already booked out.

So this is just to get a rough idea of what peoples preferences are and what venues are available on which dates

If you are interested in attending what night would suit better ...

Friday or Saturday or if either suits please add your preference and this will allow us to secure a venue as soon as possible .

We know its only April but with Christmas parties etc dates do get booked up really early in advance ..

Either day suits me although my preference is a Friday,hate being hungover on a Sunday then str8 back to work on a Monday lol.

Probably should have added that we have options of Friday the 5th or Saturday 13th of December. Wasn't sure if the 5th was too early for Christmas social!!!

Friday 5th.... tad too early. Nothing worse being in a venue and rest of city 'isn't in the Christmas spirit yet.

Hey guys the way Christmas falls this year there are only 3 main Friday Party Nights in venues in Glasgow...so those worrying that the 5th might be a bit too early then don't as the city will be very busy with events and in real festive spirit...we already have 3 party events booked for companies that night alone....

Iain is off tomorrow to France for a week so please bare with us as we have a few venues we want to go and have a look at in person prior to confirming dates. As soon as we have done this then the definite date will be updated to allow everyone to decide whether it suits them ..

Totally agree hun and as shelly has already said many venues are already full for December hence I've always posted the Christmas social fairly earlier on in the year.

One on my works Christmas night out had to be held in February because we left it so late and couldn't find anywhere as all venues were booked out lol

Thanks guys . That's very true. Hadn't realised there was only the 3 Fridays. And I've worked in few offices over the years when we've left the Xmas night out till July Aug to plan and ended up it was January we had it as they couldn't accommodate the numbers in December and the larger venues were booked out ..
