Thinking of the young men who left our shores 32 years ago due to actions at a place not many even knew the location of ....most returned 72 days later changed MEN, and some never returned at all.

ALL GAVE SOME .... SOME GAVE ALL !!!

WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THEM.

well said grid mate, can never praise those lads, who went and did their duty for queen and country, some dying in the battle, and those who survived never being the same guys ever again.,

many thanks to them all for doing what they did on British Soil, in 1982

NO _akedninja !!.... i refer to the War between Britain and Argentina after Argentina's forceful invasion of the Falkland Islands, a British Protectorate in the South Atlantic ........and a place i'm proud to say i once called home, and the resting place of my Mother !!

I was pregnant with my first child, my husband was waiting for his orders to go and he asked me "what kind of world are we bringing a child into?"

There are no winners in wars, everyone loses something.

Bloody hell cant believe it was 32 years ago,can mind watching the footage of that as an 8 year old,respect to those who went and those who never returned
