Ive seen plenty of profiles that change the username all the time and wonder why. Do they just not like sticking to one or keep thinking of ones they like better?

Ive had the same one since i joined, which was a while ago, and have never considered changing it.

I have one other profile name i would use if i were ever to change it tho!

Things change as we evolve on here eg we are thinking of changing our user name as when we joined we were very cautious hence our username but now being a bit more confident and a few meets below our belts we think that user name does not reflect who we are now.

I like that for you guys and having such a username, it sorta makes sense to change it in time as you have more experiences and arent as wary/cautious as you once were.

Do you have any ideas for a new one?

Think it just happens when people change why they're on here, or as was mentioned before, their name reflected how they were and in time its changed.

There is another reason why some people change their username.

After making complete and utter nuisances of themselves, they think they can creep back under a new name. But sadly for them, sooner or later they expose themselves; old traits die hard!

I changed my username name and got a slight surge in interest... which has died down now

I guess even if the profile bit is the same a new username attracts attention.
