You'd not be so quick to slag the police off then." well speaking as an individual who has had ample experience with being assaulted in some instance's in plain view of various police officers and having had my place broken into and various items stolen and numerous incidents of vandalism against me ....on not one of those innumerable occasions spanning 20+ year's have i even one single instance to speak of whereby there was a satisfactory outcome or dealing's with the police who i've quite often found to be rather unhelpful and unsympathetic for the most part and even those that do mean the best have failed to deliver even the bare minimum of service to be expected by those who have taken a sworn oath to serve and protect which is disappointing seeing as im a perfectly law abiding citizen who pay's my taxes as much as anyone else if not more so in some instance's.....needless to say my negative experiences with the police is something that many other's can relate to from my interaction with many other's in a professional capacity...tut tut and to think that they even tried to recruit me on numerous occasions when i was involved in training police  one thing that stuck in my mind that was told to me by a very high ranking police official was that "a criminaly minded individual makes for a good cop and cop minded invidual makes for a good criminal"....in other word's theyre one in the same although technically working for the other side of the law and before anyone is quick to judge me i also have alot of really good friends an d family member in the police force so im not anti police as much as im just a disappointed citizen who expected some measure of justice where there appears to be none to had  ...rant over! | |||

" i fully agree that daily exposure to scum would change the outlook of the most openminded individual much in the same way as a soldier exposed to killing or a doctor at the sexual health clinic might be somewhat less inclined to partake in bareback sex with a stranger much less his/her partner of 20 years lol...all the more reason why i declined the invitation to join the police family and take a job with them and another reason why i chose not to be a doctor | |||
