I enjoy this site a lot. The Banter and friendly folk on the forums, reading the profiles, laughing at the profiles sometimes too, and of course the anticipation of the possibility of meeting someone of a similar nature.

What is frustrating and I am not complaining as I fully understand that, (that is just the way that it is) is how many mails all you lovely ladies receive and delete. I can only imagine that managing your mail boxes must be a nightmare sometimes. It does make for standing out in a crowd of drooling single minded men a bit difficult, especially when your a genuine lad, looking to meet fun new friends to play with.

I guess what I am saying is, what makes a guy stand out in his profile to you ladies, and what would make you NOT delete his email?

If this is some magical secret and you don’t want to post it here feel free to mail me with your hints and tips and I promise never to share them with the drooling masses!

I tend to read the profile before I open the mail ..... That makes the difference wether I reply or delete

A profile that shows a little of the owners personality is helpful.

Personally, overuse of the term LOL or repeated reference to women as "females" and nothing else puts me right off.

Cant say I have ever seen anything on a profile that would encourage me to contact or meet anyone...

But there are profiles that certainly put me off....

I have to agree. I am a bit of a forum and profile trawler. I do enjoy an original profile that bears a little of the persons genuine nature.

My profile is a long read but a bit of fun and I update it as often as I see necessary. Some people are put off by its length but then I have made the friends I have on this site through my profile with them bearing to the end and wanting to say hello. And I have to say that they are all very nice people...

Grow a thick skin and dont get too upset when your mail get deleted. Girls love the attention and the drooling desperate guys on here, they think it gives them power. Their as desperate as the guys.

I like that advice! Thick skin grown years ago through serving in The Royal Marines, good to know that some of the ladies although fussy may be a drooling with the power lust of being picky as the guys are just drooling!
