Do we all have our own inimitable style?...

As an avid forum watcher/contributer it dawned on me recently that quite a few posters have very individual writing styles. It would appear that even without posts being identified i could have a good stab at who had penned them. I know for certain that I spotted a "weel kent face" in a new guise recently. The caustic wit was most apparent.....

And...over time it has become noticeable with some couples, even without identification, which half has posted. Is it just me? Am I turning into Hettie Wainthropp???

I know what you mean jinty sometimes i only need to see a forum title before coming into the scotland forums to know whos written it.

Also new posters who want you to think they are new posters are often easy to spot simply by the style in which they write.

They always slip up eventually jinty .

I know of one female on here with 3 maybe 4 profiles they use for this purpose ...I just laugh at them for feeling the need to do that.

They slip up indeed MissD....often because they don't change their ways and behave .....

Jintz this is a usefull skill to develope. Im not saying I can tell whos who on here yet, afterall Ive only been on a year but I can def tell when someone I text regularly allows someone else to reply to them.

You can usually tell by the subject which one of a select few has written the post.

Also the time of day as well.

Lots of things can give people away in their forum posts when they come back as a 'new member' or 'another member'.
