saw today that its international very hungery caterpillar day, that books awesome.i really loved the tiger that came to tea, bears in the wood, new hat old hat and the terrible,terrible tiger. whats your childhood favs?

Not from my childhood but used to read "Guess how much i love you?" to my son. Such happy memories....and Dont Put Your Finger in the Jelly Nelly....and Each Peach Pear Plum.....and every Topsy and Tim there ever was. Big smile here.....

One had to recite a passage from.Tom Browns School days to mater and pater each evening or one was horse whipped

And sent to bed with no supper......

A year up chimneys followed by a year down the family coal mine and I was deemed to be toughened up ready to take on the world........
