does anyone give tips to delivery folk taxi's waiter's waitresses hairdressers is it an east or west coast habit .

The only one I don't tip is the hairdresser as I do it myself

I only tip if service is good though .

People who receive tips do you feel you get more or less than you used too ?

I nearly always tip if I can. I used to be a waitress and even a small tip makes you feel appreciated.

I almost always tip, its nice to give a little something to someone who has done their job well and made an effort. If theres been bad service tho, nope.

My favourite tip is " dont wipe your arse with a broken bottle ".......

A small remuneration if good service. Feck all if they are hinting about it.....

I'm a barman so we get tips-sometimes really good ones and we're always grateful for them, what i hate about the card machine is it asks if they'd like to add a gratuity...i don't like this so just skip it so it doesn't seem like I'm hinting by giving it to them on that screen. All the rest above i tip, except for the hairdresser also as i don't go...it's a self done number one clipper job under that wig

Was at a restaurant the other day and the waiter was very good. Meal was 38 lev (£18.50 or so) left a 7 lev tip which is a good tip over here.

He was pleasant, camp as butlins, didn't hurry me along, was helpful as to how the foods were prepared, sold me a dessert when I was only in for a main course and a coffee. Great at his job.
