"Noticing the ones that come and go....then come back again...and again...and again... Id say it was loneliness... " I've been hopping on and off this site (and others) for years now. Usually end up leaving after a number of months due to the overwhelming negativity that most of us singletons are subjected to. I'm not making a big deal about it - this isn't a complaining comment. It's just that I don't think I've got a thick enough skin to deal with it. Call me a sensitive wee soul but it gets to me after a while and then I end up resigning out of frustration. If I wasn't such an eternal optimist (aka gullible fool) I'd stay away. However that and my rollercoaster libido usually have me crawling back before the next 6 months is out. The other reason is as Friendly Foe sugested (yes, I'll say it), loneliness. No, I'm not shitting any of you. As a singleton who lives alone and misses a decent bit of intellectual/physical stimulation, there's always the pull of Fab to seek out new friends. | |||
