Please help me today but is fab not supposed to be a site for people to meet other people socially or sexually.is facebook a place where people chat bout garbage ie I'm away to eat or I've just watched tv or I'm away to school x

Fab has evolved into facebook gradually over the years.

We chatted to a couple recently who said they had never met and had no intention of ever meeting were just here to chat to people at a weekend if they were bored!!

On saying that alot do still meet obviously so something for everyone I suppose.

I'm yet to see a status or message saying I'm away to school .Thank god lol!

People will use site the way they wish .If a message or status isn't for you then just pass on by .plenty of other people who will be happy to meet. Why waste time even worrying about what others do and doesn't affect anyone else .Just do your thing and enjoy your meets x

Whilst I can see what you mean about it being a bit like Facebook for pervs I don't think that's a bad thing

No one has a right to dictate how others use this site....unless its against site rules or illegal...

More and more, the only ones that bitch and complain are the ones not making full use of site to their advantage!

Live and let live if you dont like it move on and find another site that may have what your looking for .

Seeing how others react and chat with others gives you good insight to what kind of person that is....

There are some on here I will never meet or get along with....based purely on the topics/posts/status of said people...

It all acts as a filter as far as im concerned

I love chatting and meeting. I've found lots of lovely friends on here and we can talk about anything, whether it's about sex or every day life. Sometimes a status comment lets others know that you aren't about so won't be replying to messages even if you get the chance to read them, eg "Off to work". As others have said, it's what we make of it and if someone isn't happy either ignore or decide whether this is the place for them.

Surely swinging is about more than sex though. I personally do care about what my swinging friends do in their lives or if they are having hard times its about being there for one another. Just because we might be or have had some fun times together doesn't mean they are put into a category that their not of interest to me anymore. I like to hear good news and their interests interest me . If its hard or bad times then I try to help and support where I can . To me that's swinging.

At no point did I or expect everyone to meet pump twenty fours hours a day but if people want to chat to friends great for them and good luck to them. But why have a profile on a swingers site if A you don't want to or ever intend to meet other people even for coffee or tea or wine or sex or any other reason B if all you want to do is speak would you or they be better removing there profile from riff raff like us and other people C just go on facebook or other internet chat sites and let horny swingers do the talking.

But surely it comes back to the old question, what is swinging?

It comes up in the forums all the time, it's one thing to one person, but another thing to another person. At the end of the day, you join Fab and do what you want to do, irrespective of what title you or anybody else gives it.

So what about the ones who meet regular people and don't want to meet new people at that given time. Should they leave too ? Some people might meet 3 or 4 guys/girls or couples and be happy with those friends and not need to look elsewhere . So they are happy to chat partake in the forums and have some laughs with others. They are still swinging , just because they aren't showing new verifications or looking for meets doesn't mean they aren't allowed to enjoy other aspects of the site .

As stated by plenty others swinging is down to the individuals perception and how they choose to live their lives

Im going to go against the grain here and apologies if this offends. I may be on a sex site called fab swingers, however I do not class myself as a swinger. Im here as a single woman doing what I want when I want. If I decide to meet I will. If I choose to just chat about the weather then I will. Reality is dating sites are dull and men on here tend to be far brighter and much more interesting. Doesnt mean Im looking for a date,.doesnt even mean Im looking for sex. Im just here because i find it great to chat to such open minded people. Have a giggle. Make a few friends and sometimes I even get to play.But its all choice. No expectation. No judgement.
