I have been chatting to a few women over the past few weeks. I have sent them a nice messsage, included pics of face etc and they have replied sounding like they have an interest.

We chat for a few messages and seeing as I sent a face pic I figure I could ask for one in return and as soon as I do I dont get anymore messages from them....

Am I doing something really wrong by asking for a face pic after I have given one and there seems to be a genuine interest?

I've found the same thing as OP. I'm resigned to the fact that women on here can afford to be super choosy given the fact the male:female ratio is 100:1.

This really annoys me, how can you see if there is any kind of attraction at all if you can't see what someone looks like. Yes I keep my face pictures private but certainly don't have an issue with sending to someone on a pm.

There are many people on here purly for the thrill of the chase and once a meet is offered they run for the hills.

I wouldnt take it too personally and just assume they really wernt intrested after all but didnt like to tell you so choose to ignore instead,I know when i first joined here i always told guys they looked good in their photos because i didnt know how to tell them str8 that they werent for me.

Now im more honest and just tell them they aint for me if thats the case .

But in answer to your post id say no its not the norm on here as im sure as well as knock backs uve also had some responces too xxx

As far as face pics go, you are one of the few who make them public. I'm guilty of hiding mine and keeping it for friends only but I'm more than happy to trade face pics with people.

I joke but it can be a bit disappointing when you make a personal message, attach pics, Get a reply , swap back and forth messages for a day or two and then as soon as you ask for a face pic in return your left ignored :/

I do sometimes wonder whether it's just 'unable to say I don't fancy you', or 'unable to admit it's a bloke on a woman profile', but unless I reckon it's someone round the corner I'm not too worried on the folks that I mail, but then again, I don't mail too many of the 'thou shalt send a face pic on first message' profiles as they're often the worst culprits for not sending one back.

If I had been chatting with someone and they sent me a face pic I would respond by either saying

A. Thanks - then return one for them saying if you don't like don't reply back and block me.

B. Not for me and block them, and delete the message.

Saves any hassle in future, and ping pong mail with the guy asking why not or getting abuse from them.

We only send face pics when we're arranging a social meet which gives people the chance to then say they're interested or not. It's more how we get along than simply looks for us. S&Mx

Inverness is such a small place everyone knows everyone. Oh well all here for the same reason! It's only the genuine folk that will reply I reckon though.

Now I'm a habitual cock cam flasher with no face pics, do show on cam if the interest and connection is there. Have had a mixed bag response to ma ugly pus, which is fine as there has to be attraction on both sides I would say. What does bug me however, and I'm sure some people will have a different take on this, is when people that you've had a fairly good connection with while they're pervin a piece of blood filled flesh, suddenly either blank you or block you. I can take rejection and understand that things ain't gonna happen but I can still be civil to people. That would be good enough in return I would say.

I had a couple just assuming that they could turn up to my door for a meet without them sending me a picture of them , they asked for mine I duly obliged , then they were quite insistent about coming to mine for a meet , " we are genuine just check our veri,s" . Tried to explain veris are just words and I don't find words particularly attractive , then they took the huff when I told them to forget it !!

I was supposed to meet someone yesterday and they didn't show, went to check their profile and I'd been blocked.

Been there, had that. I can understand the world gets in the way at the last minute, or nerves get the better of them. I think blocks then are often a way of sticking their heads in the sand.

What I don't get is the folk you chat to, all seems to be going well and then, suddenly, they just stop answering. Or who chat away with you and when you try to ask for, even, a coffee meet just blank it.

I've been on and of here for a few years and meet a few wonderful girls but.....girls really do have the upper hand on here and even the eh overweight and unattractive girls get the pick of guys that are normally way out there league in real life (six packs and the like) because at the end of the day it's a sex site and most are here to get there end away no matter who's giving it away. This makes it harder for the normal everyday guy on this site, I'm not saying it like that with all but with the bigger percentage I'm afraid. I would say I'm above average looking but not a model and in real life the ladies than turn me down here I wouldn't touch in a million years but on here I would if I'm feeling horny. Girls get hundreds of messages a day in here and the mostly go for guys that they'd never get in real life and that guy will sleep with them and run out the door as soon as they have cum, ladies you no it's true I've spoke to a few it's happened to on here.

It's tough for guys in here but there are a few nice people on here just got to keep trying.

Sorry but with a statement like that then id say it says a hell of a lots more about the men on here than it does the women .

Read the many post on here at the moment and ul find women aint that desperate to shag just because they are horny where as from what your claiming most guys would but il bet if you do a survey you will find some guys on here do have some morals and standards which they wont deviate away from .

Yes I agree some do have morals but most guys don't and will shag anything on here because some girls are giving it away and the ones that are giving it away are doing so with guys they'd never get in real life and when this happens the guys run for the hills as soon as they've cum, guys get a hard time on here because of this, I've been here over 3 years and no how it all works.

We removed our face pics (well, set to private instead of friends), after a guy we added on here, I think as part of a couple, decided to message Mrs.Scots on Facebook, saying he knows one of her friends, would she like a meet??!!!!!
