I agree lol, lots of timewasters. Course no government wil endorse our lifestyle choice, so to that extent it will make no difference. wont stop me voting though

"does any one think no matter who gets elected in will it make any difference to this country"

Of course it'll make a difference. The choice has massive implications for foreign policy, relations with the rest of the EU, the scope of our military, spending on infrastructure, spending on research and education, etc, etc. None of these is small potatoes.

If, of course, you're disillusioned, then you should still use your vote. Spoil your vote. Actually go to your polling station, take your voting sheet, and spoil it. They count spoiled votes. Lots of spoiled votes? Largely disillusioned populace.

yes i do think it will make a difference , for the good im not so sure but will be change . look at previous elections things have changed a lot over the years , i watched the debate last night and have to say for me there was no clear winner but then again i am biased towards the party i have decided to vote for now . think everyone wants change now but what kind of change who knows

Infamy infamy they've all got it infamy

Seriously......

Neither party has said or done anything to swing my vote.

Cons too bury point scoring and putting down other parties to really care about Scotland.

Gordon Broon shoves stats up Camerons arse to prove Public schoolboy has no idea what is happening in real world,

Who really cares about Clegg as historically his party are never in it...could this be their year.

As for Salmond and wee Nicola......living a pipe dream.... it aint going to happen.

Got as much chance of getting a 3sum with Nicola Sturgeon and Gail Sheridan as SNP have of independance.

Maybe a 3 sum with the Sheridans is quite possible ....

Yo Tommy are you on here reading this

1905-1922 the UK had three successive Liberal Prime Ministers.....so maybe 2010 could indeed be cleggies year????

The thing about the debates is he has nothing to lose and he comes across better in the polls because he is honest about it.

Still dreaming about that 3sum.

Am I the only one that would give wee Sturgeon the shag of her life

There are plenty more than two, as your own post suggests

it makes no difference who gets in they are only in it for themselves not the folk they are ment to be fighting for.you just need to look at what there doing to public service workers a 1% pay rise this year .5% next and then a pay freeze. yet the price of food, fuel and every other daily products have gone up more than 1%.

oh and where can i book a nice wee house for my ducks to live in at my duck pond and can i caim it on my expenses.

i only got 1% rise and im in care sector and if i get 5% next year it will be a bloody miracle!! xx

but why should the public sector workers get a wage rise when most , if not all private sector workers have not had a rise for 2 years now and no rise in site. or worse still lots of these workers have had to go part time or lose their job completely.

i agree we all shoudl be getting better wages if you deserve it but remember the private workers are getting it just as bad.

and for my point, we need change as labour have ran us into the ground enough. it will only get worse with them in charge again. they wont stop at NI rise, tax will come after they have won. then more tax on petrol etc.

"we need change as labour have ran us into the ground enough. it will only get worse with them in charge again."

Yes, yes, yes.

Unfortunately we have a lot of habitual voters in Scotland who'll vote Labour because their parents voted Labour.

well i work in the public sector and we have cut the workforce by around 3000 people over the past couple of years.and not a thing has been said by the public about the job cuts.but then this has been done through the back door.and what have they done with the work that these people did? let me guess now. i know what they did.they gave the work to companies in the private sector to do them. and were still cutting numbers and passing work onto them. so it's not just the private sector having it hard with the recesion its everyone.

it will only make a difference if the sheep don't come out and vote for the usual lot in scotland, nobody really votes for the Conservative and Unionist Party these days although most of the sheep have voted for the last 50 years for their successors - the wee tories, aka the pink socialists (pink as in watered down red clydeside), aka the pseudo-socialists, or their real name New Labour, though they are calling themselves Scottish Labour up here (despite the red rose of wherever) or are they calling themselves Labour these days. Whatever you want to refer to them as, they have given up their working class roots. As for the other half of the the so-called main parties are concerned, they are still only interested in power for the few. If you vote for anything other than Conservative or Labour, it will make a difference, only then will people and the politicians come together and make real things happen.!

very good point cunning.... totaly agree.

look at airdrie the last election. they wanted to shut the A&E and they still won here because they could stick a labour roset thign on a monkey and they would still vote for them.

sensual... ill vote for ye but i wanted to run as well.

my main thing agenda was to sort out the french PM dude and them pump his wife

I actually think that the tories will be the lesser of 2 evils if they get in. Firstly they know that they have a real bad rep in Scotland and therefore will think seriously before making any large spending cuts up here. Secondly they are more likely to work with the SNP if the SNP get a decent number of seats as I doubt they will get an overall majority if they do get in. Plus Labour are never going to work with the SNP on Scottish issues because they are the opposition in the Scottish Parliment.
